OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team on-site as an Area Director of Revenue Management overseeing Black Desert Resort and Red Mountain Resort in St.
George, UT.
As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales strategies, maximizing revenue, and achieving business objectives across multiple properties within your assigned area.
Responsibilities:
Maximize overall hotel revenue through effective transient/group inventory and pricing strategiesMonth to month, quarterly and yearly forecastingOptimize distribution channels for maximum benefit of penetrationMonitor and analyze competitive rates and positioningCoordinate various activities to further enhance revenue potential;Complete annual hotel room revenue budgets and RevPar index goalsIdentify and interpret market demandAnalyze competitive hotel information and strategiesDevelop, implement, monitor and control rate strategies and plansDevelop action plans to counteract any market changesSTAR report analysisResponsibilitiesBachelor's degree in business, hospitality management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in revenue management within the hotel industry, including experience in a leadership role overseeing multiple properties.
In-depth knowledge of revenue management principles, techniques, and best practices.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in revenue management systems and tools.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire teams.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and achieving targets.
Analytical and strategic thinking skills to identify opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
Proficiency in using sales management systems, CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
